Feedback & Complaints
The Academy always welcomes feedback from our school community and the wider community. Our aim is to support our students to successfully re-engage with their education and if there are ways we can better meet this aim we would love to hear them. Similarly, if there is something we do well we would love to hear from you. As a Child Safe Organisation, and in compliance with the Non-Government Schools Registration Standards, the Academy has a robust feedback and complaints handling process to support the safety of all members of our school community. Students, parents/guardians, and other members of the school community may make complaints in writing, verbally, or in other alternative formats. Complaints will be taken seriously and actioned appropriately.
Students can submit their feedback online through Communicare’s Child and Young Person Complaints and Feedback form. To fill out the form, click the button below.

For more information on the complaints handling process, please see our Concerns, Complaints, and Disputes Policy in the policy library.
Role of the Director General of the Department of Education:
The Director General is responsible for ensuring that the school observes the registration standards, including the standard about this complaints handling system. Any student, parent or community member is entitled to contact the Director General with concerns about how the school has dealt with a complaint. Information is available on the Department of Education website. While the Director General may consider whether the school has breached the registration standards, she does not have the power to intervene in a complaint or override the school’s decision.
