A school year would not be complete for our younger students without a trip to Adventure World.
Last year was a long year for our Create Class and although we have had our ups and downs throughout the year, the students should be extremely proud of the progress they have made.
Create Class has enjoyed the highest attendance rate of any class at the Academy which points to the importance that each student places on his/her own education. Due to their exceptional attendance and mature approach towards their education, an Adventure World trip was definitely in order.
With three staff and ten students attending, the day was enjoyed by all. The overriding consensus from the students was that the highlights from the day were the Abyss Rollercoaster, Kraken Waterslide and the Go-Carts. It was great to see the students working in teams, supporting, encouraging and looking out for each other during the whole day. They even showed a great deal of compassion towards our P.E. teacher Rebekah after she was comprehensively beaten in all Go-Cart races.
The Academy wishes all our Create students a Merry Christmas and safe holiday and we look forward to seeing you back happy and healthy at the start of next year.
