Year 10-12

Preparing our students for life after school

Learning

Years 10-12

Our nationally accredited course prepares Years 10-12 for further study and work.

Certificates in General Education for Adults (CGEA) provide a range of educational opportunities for our students to increase their participation in the community and the workplace.

Our students attain nationally accredited units that focus on literacy and numeracy to prepare them for post-secondary education and training options including: university, apprenticeships, traineeships, TAFE and employment.

The CGEA creates educational pathways for our students. Completing Certificates II and III ensures our students are competitive when applying for TAFE courses.

Completing the Certificate III provides our students with the literacy and numeracy requirements necessary to apply for specific vocational courses.

Certificate I CGEA

Certificate l focuses on developing literacy and numeracy skills so that our students are able to create and interpret texts and solve numeracy questions in everyday situations.

The Certificate l course is made up of 16 units:
