Accessibility and Inclusion at Communicare
Communicare Inc. (Communicare) is committed to working to support people who are disadvantaged within our community. In recognition of the disadvantage experienced by people with disabilities, Communicare has developed this Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) with the purpose of increasing the universal access and inclusion of people with disabilities who come into contact with our organisation.
Our Disability Action and Inclusion Plan aims to:
- Provide a framework where Communicare services and events can be accessed by the community and those receiving our services can expect a high standard;
- Allow universal access to buildings and facilities owned by Communicare;
- Increase awareness of opportunity for employment within Communicare’s services.
Our DAIP is designed to make Communicare an organisation that practices and promotes services and events that are universally inclusive.
